- Increased 1-1 contact between students and their teacher. There is now more time to talk with individual students, assisting them, answering their questions and assessing their understanding of the material.
- More collaborative learning which raises the energy level in the room and gives students time to practice their collaborative skills that they will need to use in the workplace.
- Exposure to a discovery-based, open-ended experiential learning environment.
- Students become more engaged in the learning process and develop those necessary learning skills that empower students once they leave school.
- Increased control over how and when lectures are viewed. Students watch screencasts on YouTube (a medium with which they are very comfortable), pause them, rewind them and even watch them multiple times, from their computer, their smartphone, or from any other Internet enabled device, at their convenience.
